Visionary writer-director Guillermo del Toro is known for his visually stunning, magical storytelling, often celebrating the beauty that can exist within darkness. In Frankenstein, recently Oscar-nominated for Best Picture, del Toro brings to the screen a definitive new version of the timeless classic, exploring what it means to be human.

Frankenstein saw del Toro reunite with many of his frequent behind-the-scenes collaborators, working together to craft a beautiful production of operatic scale made by real people, in real locations with real – often handmade – materials, testing the capabilities of every single craft in moviemaking.

Join us for an unforgettable evening with del Toro and members of his BAFTA and Academy Award nominated creative team including:

·       Tamara Deverell (Production Design)
·       Kate Hawley (Costume Design)
·       Mike Hill (Creature Design)
·       Alexandre Desplat (Original Score)

The discussion will be moderated by eminent film historian, Sir Christopher Frayling, author of several books, including Frankenstein: The First Two Hundred Years.

Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein is available to view on Netflix now.
