From the impeccable elegance of collection shoots to striking covers and editorials for high-profile magazines, Tom Kublin captured the golden age of Balenciaga couture in the 1950s and 1960s.
Join the photographer's daughter, María Kublin and Lydia Slater, the editor in chief of Harper’s Bazaar, in conversation with V&A Curator of Photography Lydia Caston, for a talk exploring of one of the most creative unions in fashion history. Illustrated with rarely seen photographs and film material, the talk will be held in conjunction with the publication of new Thames & Hudson book of the same name.
This talk will be streamed on Zoom and all ticketholders will receive a link to view the morning of the talk, as well as a recording after.
