LAIKA: The Magic Behind a Stop-Motion Dream Factory, from Coraline to Wildwood (Livestream) photo
To mark the release of LAIKA’s first book with publisher Rizzoli,  two of the studio’s most experienced creatives, Production Designer Nelson Lowry and Costume Designer Deborah Cook will share insights from their years working inside this dream factory’s distinctive stop-motion world.

In conversation with Robbie Collin, chief film critic of The Daily Telegraph, they will explore the creative process, collaboration, problem-solving, and the artistry behind the films. Illustrated with images from the book and featuring behind-the-scenes stories, visuals, and reflections on craft, this event is perfect for fans of animation, creatives, and anyone curious about how LAIKA’s films are brought to life.

This talk will be held on Zoom and all ticketholders will receive a link to view the morning of the talk. It will also be recorded for those not able to join live.
