Join designers from leading design and innovation agency, Seymourpowell, as they use their work with Virgin Galactic as a case study to examine the world of design for interplanetary exploration. This session will allow students to discover and critique the world of space travel, prompt discussion around the future of designing for space, and seek out the key questions we should be asking before we take another giant leap for humankind.
In preparation for the webinar, we would recommend opening the discussion of space exploration with your students to gauge their opinions, thoughts and ideas. Your class, as attendees, will not be on camera but you will have the opportunity to put forward their views and feedback anonymously via the Q&A and poll functions within Zoom.
What will you and your students get from this session?
- A brief introduction to Seymourpowell
- The current context of space travel
- An overview on designing for space and Seymourpowell’s work with Virgin Galactic
- The future of space exploration and the future of designing for space
