The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Collection is one of the world’s most outstanding private collections of decorative arts, comprising glass and stone mosaics, portrait enamels, gold boxes and silver. On display in the galleries is a spectacular group of micromosaics with tesserae (individual stone pieces) so small that it is almost impossible to see each tiny tile with the naked eye.
