Looking for something to do on the weekend? Join Make its for hands-on, family-friendly activities, inspired by the Museum’s collection and exhibitions.

Come along to this Make it to design and make a futuristic necklace or bracelet inspired by nature and the Schiaparelli exhibition.

Led by artist Cadi Williams, explore the patterns of algae to shape your accessory. Get thinking about symmetry for your final design, then get making! You’ll get to work with natural materials called biomaterial that  are earth-friendly material grown in labs or made from plants and fruit!

Come along to learn about biomaterials and Cadi's work as a designer. You'll pick up some new skills and a new hobby to carry on at home as a family.

Your family will come away with knowledge about designing accessories inspired by nature. You'll also go home with your own handmade accessory to show off to all your friends.

Let your child take the lead but work together as a family to explore designing and creating.

No previous experience is necessary, just come along and join in!

All materials will be provided, all sourced sustainably.
