Come along to our Sensory Friendly, a new monthly workshop for neurodiverse visitors of all ages and their families. Join this friendly, relaxed session.
As a family you’ll get to design, create and experiment using a mixture of different art materials in the space. The session and activities are inspired by the museum's collections.
If you need a break, there will be a breakout space available through the day, with one within the event space and the other nearby. This space will have: a blackout tent, cushions, sensory toys, and ear defenders.
All activities are optional, and you can visit at any point during the event timings, between 11am - 4pm. However, please book your tickets to give us an idea if you’re likely to visit us earlier 11am-1:30pm, or later in the day 1:30-4pm.
This is an activity for families where either a child or the parent/ carer/ guardian has a neurodiversity or sensory processing disorder. This is a free, drop-in event for families to enjoy all together; no child can be left unattended. Suitable for ages 5+.
