Party bags

The museum’s shop can provide party bags for those children attending your party.

We can provide limited quantities of small paper bags for free – if you need larger paper bags, we charge £0.10 for medium sized bags and £0.20 for larger bags.

Please contact the Shop Managers, Violaine Chiron and Sharon Morris directly at and or on 020 8983 5229 for further information.

External Entertainment and Decorations

You are welcome to provide your own entertainment (face painter, etc.) and decorate the room for the party. You have access to the room 30 minutes before your booking time. We just ask that you use white-tack or blu-tack if you want to stick anything to the walls as this will not damage the paintwork.

We do not allow bouncy castles or smoke machines.

We also ask that you do not bring candles or helium balloons into the Museum as they are a fire risk. Runaway balloons set off the alarm sensors and we would have to evacuate the building! Electric candles are permitted.
