Musical theatre costume design: Everybody's Talking About Jamie

Watch multi-award-winning costume and set designer Anna Fleischle give us exclusive behind-the-scenes insight into her creative process for the major West End musical, Everybody's Talking About Jamie.

What is Everybody's Talking About Jamie about?

A hugely successful musical, the show began at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England and quickly moved to the West End in London, before going on a national tour and being adapted into a feature film.

The story follows British teenager Jamie New, who dreams of becoming a drag queen and going to the school prom in a dress. Navigating school, bullying and prejudice, Jamie embarks on a journey of self-discovery which highlights the power of community and the joys of gender expression, along with the importance of individuality and breaking free from expectations.
