Architecture & Urban Planning
Friday 10 February
This Satellite session will be hosted by the V&A at the architecturally significant Lansbury Lawrence Primary School in East London. The school is situated on the Lansbury Estate, the first large scale reconstruction scheme for the East End after the Second Word War. The Lansbury Lawrence Primary School is one of the most revered buildings on site and debuted in the 1951 Festival of Britain as part of the ‘Live Architecture’ exhibition. During this session, you will get the chance to explore architecture and urban planning with a professional architect inspired by the history of this unique estate. Join us for a glass of wine, develop your skills in this discipline and take away starting points for projects in the classroom.
Thank you for a superb evening. It was fascinating and a real privilege to look behind the scenes.
